COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY OF HOA SEN YEN BAI CENTER OF TRADING – SERVICES – HOTELS – RESTAURANTS AND EVENTS PROJECT

The commencement ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and departments of Yen Bai Province; credit institutions; Hoa Sen Group’s close customers; reporters, radio and local people. 

The project is invested by Hoa Sen Yen Bai Joint Stock Company, on a land area covering ​​nearly 1.5 hectares, with a total estimated investment capital of about VND 500 billion. It is located at the economic, political and cultural center of Yen Bai Province at intersection of three major routes of Yen Bai city, including: Nguyen Tat Thanh, Nguyen Van Cu and Ngo Gia Tu of Dong Tam Ward, Yen Bai City. At the same time, with the two fronts of Nguyen Tat Thanh and Nguyen Van Cu routes, the project creates easy links with neighboring residential areas. Additionally, it is adjacent to National Highway No. 37 – an important traffic route connecting the East and North West regions, passing through eight Provinces and cities: Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai and Son La. This favorable location makes the project facilitate trade development and tourist attraction.

Up to this point, the project is considered as the largest trade center and hotel according to international standards in Yen Bai Province. It consists of a 15-storey commercial center and hotel, with a total floor area of 24,561 square meters, built into a complex providing various items such as: business center, convention center, 4-star hotel, wedding restaurant, coffee shop, and luxury apartment. The project design is a harmonious combination between the beauty of the North West mountains and symbols of Hoa Sen brand. The general structure is built in “step ladder” style, inspired by Mu Cang Chai terraced fields – a national landscape of Yen Bai Province. The central part is considered an image of three-petal lotus flower blooming, rising to create an impressive and outstanding highlight. By looking at the whole scene, the project demonstrates solidity of the step ladder architecture, as well as softness, elegance and grace of the lotus symbol to create a high class, sophisticated and modern architecture.

The project consists of two phases, whereby phase 01 starting from fourth quarter of 2016 to fourth quarter of 2018 with the construction of basic infrastructure of the whole land and construction items such as: 4-star low-rise hotel, business center, conference center, wedding restaurant, café, multi-function parking area. Phase 02 lasting from fourth quarter of 2018 to fourth quarter of 2020 will complete the remaining items of the project including: 4-star high-rise hotel, expanded 4 star low-rise hotel and apartment. The project is expected to be completed by 2020. When completing and officially putting into operation, this project will become one of the key projects contributing to Yen Bai city’s objective of becoming an urban center type II by 2020 and grade I by 2050. It will be a lever for Yen Bai to maximize potentials and become an economic center of Northwestern region of Vietnam. In addition, the project also brings outstanding living values ​​to Yen Bai Province’s local people by providing the best quality of commercial and entertainment services and being an ideal stopover destination for domestic and international visitors. At the same time, the project promises to bring lots of attractive business investment opportunities for investors in the future.

Located at the gateway to the Northwestern region, Yen Bai is assessed to have lots of potentials for exploitation and development of many types of tourist attractions. This is a place preserving rich and unique cultural values, possessing many historical revolutionary relics, temples and pagodas system associated with the country’s building and defending history. On the top of that, Yen Bai has ideal climate, majestic, pristine natural scenery with landscapes at the national level such as: Mu Cang Chai terrace fields, Thac Ba, Suoi Giang resort, etc. In particular, Yen Bai is considered as one of the “national origin” region with Van Hoi lake, where the legendary Au Co set the first step in bringing 50 children up the mountains to establish and expand the country. In the context of commencement ceremony of this project, on the evening of May 18^th, 2016, Hoa Sen Group cooperated with Yen Bai People’s Committee to organize an art event with the theme “Native land with rich mountains and rivers” at 19/8 Square, Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province. The program was held to commemorates the 126th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and celebrate the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. With large scale, careful preparation, and participation of many leading artists such as: Hong Nhung, Cam Van, Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Nam dong ke group (5-line group), Kyo York, etc., the event attracted the participation of 10,000 people in Yen Bai Province and was live broadcast on Yen Bai Radio and TV station. The program deeply expressed patriotism, national pride and praised the beauty of nature, the people of Vietnam in general and the Northwest mountains and forests in particular.
